I Am Finally Getting Transferred!!

Hello everyone, 

This week was good. I am getting transferred to Linstead with Elder Moys. I am going to be a mom. haha. I am his second companion. It should be good. I have heard good things about Linstead. I'll leave this place tomorrow morning. I am ready to leave. haha Next transfer should be better. Other than that nothing too exciting. Our investigators all fell through so, ya. That was awkward. I'll be out of here soon.

My neighbor has been copying all the recipes. She has the Ashton Ward cookbook. The transfer should be good, something new!

I met my companion a few times. He seems cool, just really green. I heard the members feed missionaries a lot in Linstead.

I am just excited. No mail this week. My companion is from Utah :/. He seems chill, though.

Hello everyone! 

This week was better. We actually found two investigators. They are two sisters, and they are actually keeping commitments. Hopefully, we can get them to church next Sunday. Transfer calls are this Saturday. So, that is exciting. I hope I get transferred far away from Spain Town. The dogs are good. haha We didn't get to go to the service day. We didnt know where it was, and i think it got canceled. We are going to chill at the church today with the other elders. My companion is good, just different. I have 10 more months, it is going by fast.

This Week Was Rough - Spanish Town, Jamaica

Hello everyone

This week was rough, but so it goes. I just have to keep moving forward. Keep the Wright's in your prayers. I am doing good. Make sure that they are ok. The mission president called and let me know. I'm alright, we just have another angel watching out for us now. I am just keeping busy, so there is less time to just fester and think about what happened. An idle mind is the devil's playground.
I haven't gotten any mail yet. Zone meeting is on Wednesday, so i should get a whole bunch.

Someone gave us sugar cane this week and also some coconuts. So, that was good. The puppies are good. This morning we cleaned our house. We sprayed it all out haha.

Hello Everyone It's me!

This week was shorter than last. Still no one solid to teach, but we are still trying. We still haven't found a place to rent yet. Hopefully soon! Elder Eulette snores'-'! So, that has been difficult, but oh well. I only have two more weeks here

It has been raining a lot. The rivers are high and we had a landslide yesterday. No mail this week.  Everyday when we come in for lunch, it usually starts raining. We have dinner with Julie's family every Sunday. Julie and her sister and their dad live together. Their dad had a stroke so he cant say much. She has an adopted son named Nicko. They are pretty nice.  I haven't seen stuffing. I found potatoes, but they are expensive. They don't have root beer, here. I tried to send a package last week, but they wouldn't send it. I'm going to get another one together. On Pdays, the elders all hang out at the church. The food here is pretty nice.

Hello Everyone... Elder Davis speaking. This week was boring and long. No one to teach. We are helping the less actives a lot, though. The puppies are good. haha. Tink Tink is always playing with them. We had some super good Jamaican Jerk yesterday. That was fun, and i got my hair cut from a barber. Most of them don't know how to cut white man hair, but he did a good job. That is a little summary of this week. Oh ya, and one of the senior couples took us to dinner. So, that was fun.We went to Island grill. No packages this week.

But So It Goes.... Spanish Town 13 months

Hello Everyone,

Just another week in spain town. It's been exhausting. Elder Eulett is weird, but so it goes. I'm just having fun when i can. He is quiet and awkward. apparently he use to be in a gang so he has some crazy stories. He is from montego bay. He likes to draw, but he draws weird stuff. We got puppies for the yard. They are pretty funny. They are always fighting each other. One is rex and the other is spud. haha Nothing to exciting happened this week. Everything here is good, just boring. Today I'm going to hang out at the church with the other elders, Elder Evans, Elder Lewis, and Porter Herschi.

I have your package packaged up. I just have to tow it on my bike into town. Candy and treats are probably the best thing to send me. chocolate is good. They don't have reeses or starburst here. I probably wont get transferred off the island, because you have to sign papers to go off island. They haven't had me sign anything.

Scorpions and Hurricanes - Spanish Town

Hello it's me! 

We get 10 min to email today. I am staying in spain town. I got Elder Yulet yesterday. I don't think that is how his name is spelled. He is Jamaican. We are trying to move out. Our neighbors don't want us to move. So, they are mad at us. We got puppies for the yard. I am not excited for this transfer. We will see what happens. We found a 5 inch scorpion in my pants yesterday. Luckily, I wasn't wearing them. haha. The hurricane didn't hit us so that was depressing. We didn't even get that much rain. I got the mosquito net. He is kind of famous for being weird. Just doing stuff weird ways. He is kind of awkward also That is how my week went.

I have to go now. I'll be back on Monday.
